Asmita's story

Asmita's family live in a remote area of Nepal called Sindhuli. Her family is regarded as lower caste and her parents are farmers labourers. Her father is handicapped (only has one hand), while Asmita has some hearing difficulties. Asmita has 4 siblings.

Asmita was brought to Kathmandu early this year due to family problems, and is now in the care of one of our partner organisations.

The reason for this move is of a sensitive nature and we will only be disclosed to her new sponsor after a sponsorship has commenced.

Asmita's accommodation is being looked after by our partner organisation and it will be our pleasure to take the responsibility of looking after all of Asmita's education needs.
